Data Broker Release 24.6 for Elements

Welcome to the latest edition of the Data Broker Release Notes! We're excited to present a comprehensive overview of new features and improvements in our latest update. We strive to deliver the best possible experience for our users and each release aims to enhance and streamline your processes. Review the notes below to learn how this update can help your firm. 

 

Note: This version requires a solution update for Data Broker to receive the below updates. You must be on a version later than 2.1 to access all features and functions currently available.

 

Contact Sync

This feature remains in the beta testing phase and will move forward with select clients after this release for both Black Diamond and InnoTrust.

 

Data Broker Configuration Screen Updates

All Integrations

  • Refresh Metadata button now appears on the Entity Configuration page. The button also appears on the Schedule page. Metadata should be refreshed any time Entity settings or configurations are updated within Data Broker.

 

Schwab

  • Updated Credentials page configuration to remove the Data Persistence User and Record Owner. User and Record Owner will default to the user that is authenticating into Schwab OpenView Gateway from Data Broker.

Black Diamond

Enhancements

  • Upgraded to Version 5 of Black Diamond API for data coming into CRM. This allows access to broader data including the future ability to access Contact files from Black Diamond.
  • Modernized the OAuth process for Black Diamond access.

Fix

  • Resolved an issue where an error was displayed in job logs when attempting to run an upload to Black Diamond.

 

Fixes

MoneyGuidePro

  • Previously, if a PMS/PAS was used that did not include Households, and External ID needed to be pre-seeded. This is no longer required.

 

Modestspark

  • Previously, a Modestspark Client ID that contained punctuation or connector, i.e. and, &, etc., an error was received. The integration now allows punctuation and connectors in the Client ID.

 

All Integrations

  • Resolved an issue where Data Broker logs did not allow users to scroll through all steps of a job.
  • Resolved an issue where Data Broker jobs were complete with errors, but logs did not show errors.
  • Resolved an issue where financial accounts and holdings were duplicated.
