Salentica University, powered by WalkMe, is a browser extension that offers users training tutorials and on-screen guidance within Elements. However, if you have determined you no longer need Salentica University, you can remove the extension. 

 

Removing the Browser Extension

Users who manually installed the WalkMe browser extension can uninstall the extension by following these browser-specific instructions.

 

Chrome

1. Right-click on the WalkMe icon in the top right corner of your browser (it will look like a blue circle with ‘me’ in the middle)

2. Select Remove from Chrome

 

Edge

1. Right-click on the WalkMe icon in the top right corner of your browser (it will look like a blue circle with ‘me’ in the middle)

2. Select “Remove from Microsoft Edge”

 

Internet Explorer

1. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of your browser

2. Select Manage Add Ons

3. Find WalkMe Extension

4. Right Click on it and click Disable

 

Safari

1. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click Extensions. 

2. To uninstall an extension, select the extension and click the Uninstall button. 

 

Please Note: You will likely not be able to uninstall a mass-deployed extension as your company has deployed this to your machine. If you are unable to uninstall your WalkMe Extension, please contact your company’s IT department.
