We are so excited to partner with the best in the CRM business because their releases help you too! The Summer '22 release for Salesforce is currently rolling out, and below are some of the key enhancements we want to highlight as your Salesforce partner.

Dynamic Related Lists

Customize related lists directly from the Lightning App Builder instead of the page layout editor with the new Dynamic related List - Single component. Choose the list's fields, sort order, apply filters, and give the list a descriptive name. To see your most relevant records, set up two related lists with different filters on the same object.

Reports and Dashboards

Limit Results in Tabular Reports

To get quickly to the most relevant records and avoid unnecessary processing time, the number of rows returned in a tabular report can be limited in the report builder.

Edit Multiple Fields on the Report Run Page

This feature includes inline editing of multiple records on the report run page, inline changes in multiple rows or columns, and then the ability to save all changes with a single click.

Summary Functions Now Include Median

The median function is now available for all summary measures in reports and dashboards.

Find the Best Report Type for New Reports

With the enhanced report type selector, you can now quickly see which fields and objects are included in a report. See at a glance which report types are standard or custom and keep the number of available report types manageable by hiding those which aren't required.

Activities

Spot Overdue tasks Right Away

Due dates for overdue task now appear in red, making them easy to spot. The date appears in red in the activity timeline, the task list view, the task detail view, the task Kanban view and the task split view.

Picklists

Bulk Manage Picklist Values

Improve system performance with the ability to delete, activate, deactivate, or replace multiple custom picklist field values at once, instead of one at a time.

Clean Up Inactive Picklist Values

Manage the inactive picklist values and enforce limits on inactive values for custom picklists to improve system performance and overall health with the ability to bulk delete inactive, unused picklist values.

Learn Which Picklist Values are Duplicates

You now get a descriptive message that tells you which picklist values are duplicates when you add new picklist values. Previously, you saw a message that reported only that there were duplicate values.

Flow Updates

Flows Listed in Object Manager

Triggered flows will be visible in a menu within the Object Manager, which should make management of these easier from the central place where all object configuration is done.

Use Formulas as Flow Entry Conditions

A formula builder is now available in the Start element of a record-triggered flow. The builder guides you through the syntax and simplifies the process. Instead of waiting until you save a flow, you can check the formula syntax and catch errors as you work.

Migrate Workflow Rules to Flow

Although this feature is now generally available through Salesforce, we recommend that you review any workflow rules that you convert to flows using the Workflow Migration Tool, to ensure that they work as expected, post-migration.

The Migrate to Flow tool is not only generally available, but also supports Workflows with formulas, even when the criteria is "Evaluate the rule when a record is created, and any time it's edited to subsequently meet criteria."
