What is a Record?

In Salentica Elements, a Record is a complete unit of information. Think of it like a single row in a table, with multiple columns, also known as fields, to store the pieces of information that make up the entire row.

For example, above, we have a record for Relationships. We have columns for for Relationship TypeFamilyClient Start DateClient End DateNet Worth, etc. Each time you add a new Relationship to the system, you’re creating a new record in the Salentica Elements database.

This is an example of how a record will display in Elements:

In this example, you see the Andrews Relationship record, with all the details, or fields, that are associated with this record.

Salentica can be customized by your System Administrator, so your views & access may differ from this documentation. Please contact your System Administrator with specific questions.
